Flax seeds—a nutty-tasting seed that’s high in omega-3 fatty acids—have been around for hundreds of years and are believed to help fight everything from heart disease to diabetes. Flax seeds are also high in fiber, yet work for low-carb diets and are high in Vitamin B.
