Spiked iced tea is a lighter alternative to heavy cocktails for summer entertaining and is not nearly as potent as so-called Long Island Iced Tea, which doesn’t actually contain tea at all. It also makes a refreshing and unexpected alternative to the usual Bloody Mary or Mimosa at brunch.
- Add 1 to 2 tablespoons bourbon, rum or dry sherry to each serving of Classic Iced Tea, Green Iced Tea or Apple-Cinnamon Iced Tea
- Add 1 tablespoon of bourbon or raspberry liqueur to each serving of Raspberry Tingle.
- Add 1/2 to 3/4 cup of rum to Lemon Pineapple Green Tea.
